Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project meeting, Thursday, August 20, 2015

At this meeting we will continue work on our fall 2015 launch of the Want Peace? yard signs, and on arrangements for Marjorie Cohn to speak here in November.  We will also continue making arrangements with other speakers on drone warfare such as Jennifer Gibson and Sarah Knuckey.

We’re currently working with Trudy at  BNP to arrange a showing of the anti-drone film “Good Kill.”  We’ll continue to explore our ongoing concern about the deaths of civilians resulting from the Saudi bombing in Yemen.and how WAW can get more involved in stopping this killing.
