Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project meeting Monday, December 18th 1 PM

Planning meeting of the Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project.  Some items to be discussed include lobbying work on curtailing the president’s sole nuclear strike powers by mandating congressional approval, lobbying Representative Paul Tonko about diplomacy with North Korea and ending US military support for the Saudis in Yemen {jointly with the Iran Project}.  Also under consideration are co-sponsorship of national antiwar conferences and planning for local educational speakers for 2918.
