Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project, planning meeting, Thursday, June 8th at 1 PM

We will be continuing to discuss ways that we, as a project or organization can help with the refugees that have been and continue to be settled in the Capital District based on our meeting with Dahlia Herring, co-chair of the Refugee Roundtable.  And after the Humanize Not Militarize Poster Exhibit leaves Oakwood Community Center we have one more venue CREATE, a non-profit arts group in Saratoga Springs that will exhibit the posters during June and also host a poster design workshop during the exhibit.

We will also be looking at ways that we can work with some of our local representatives and senators to stop arms sales and boots on the ground in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan in this time when there seem to be no restrictions about harming and killing civilians..
