Description:Between March 10th and May 30, 2017 at various locations throughout the Capital District, Women Against War will be displaying a traveling exhibit of posters from the American Friends Service Committee; in conjunction with films, theatre, and other cultural events.
“Humanize, not Militarize” portrays the effects of militarism and racism at home and abroad.
The first exhibit takes place from March 10th through April 2nd:transform.jpg artist, Aaron Hughes in conjunction with Capital Repertory Theater’s performances of “An Iliad”, based on Homer’s Iliad.

Before performances:  6:30 PM for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday performances, Fridays at 7PM, Saturday afternoons at 2PM, Saturday evenings at 7PM, and Sundays at 1PM, The theatre closes immediately after each performance.During the daytime, the Café is open whenever the theatre is open.  So that would be every day from 9:30am  to 5 PM.,

The goal is to highlight alternatives to military engagement, prisons, and immigration barriers and to offer positive nonviolent, nondiscriminatory solutions.
Information about each artist, is available at the exhibit along with the posters and some background materials. “What does safety and security look like to you?
