Grannies for Peace Meeting to plan our 2017 events, Thursday, December 1, 2016, 1 PM

This is the meeting where we plan our events for the coming year, starting with our annual Valentine’s Day vigil.

Planning ahead will be a bit challenging this December, because we can’t predict just what a Donald Trump presidency will produce. So we will use the meeting to set tentative dates for our major events.  We’ll choose our co-coordinators for each event and begin working on a theme for our Valentine’s Day vigil, as well as an appropriate time and place to express that theme.
The meeting will also provide a much needed chance to get together and share our thoughts and feelings about just what these election results will mean to us and to our communities.  Comfort as well as planning will be an important aspect of our time together.
