Planning Meeting of Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project: Wednesday, August 9th at 10:30 PM

Next planning meeting of the Beyond Afghanistan/No Drones Project will take place on WEDNESDAY, August 9th at 10:30 am, at Albany Friends Meeting House.
The day and time were changed to allow for non-project members of WAW to take part in planning for a fall speaker.
Here’s the message about the meeting from Maud Easter:

The change is because this is a special meeting with a single focus – planning for a speaking visit by Miriam Pemberton. Marcia Hopple and Alexandra Lusak are interested in working on this visit also – so the 4 of us at last month’s Afghan meeting (Anita, Mabel, Hazel and I) who are also interested in scheduling her decided to invite them to meet with us for planning, and this is the time that worked for all!

I’ve had many e-mails back and forth with Miriam in the past few weeks. I plan to share the highlights/background of all this with those who will be at the meeting in an e-mail next week. Hopefully, this will speed up our process for what needs to be an hour’s meeting.
