During the annual Food Festival when huge crowds fill the plaza to visit dozens of food vendors.

This year is especially timely because on July 14, 2015 the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China reached a historic diplomatic agreement to prevent Iran from seeking or acquiring a nuclear weapon.  The deal is called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Right now the US Congress has 60 days to consider and approve or reject US participation in this deal.

Meet up will take place at the end of the plaza near the State Capitol, at 12:15 PM.

If you arrive later, look for us to the right, when your back is to the Capitol, not far past that end of the reflecting pool.  We usually find a good spot there.
